The Founder
Mugil Trust’s story began in 2013 with the unwavering vision of Mr Krishnamurthy. Deeply affected by the social and economic disparities he witnessed in Chennai’s communities, Mr Krishnamurthy was determined to make a positive change. Witnessing firsthand the struggles of families grappling with inadequate healthcare, limited educational opportunities, and a lack of basic necessities, he envisioned an organization that would empower the most vulnerable and marginalized. Fueled by compassion and a resolute spirit, Mr Krishnamurthy embarked on a mission to establish Mugil Trust, a beacon of hope for those in need.
Ms Banumathi’s unwavering support and financial stewardship proved instrumental in Mugil Trust’s formative years. Together, they laid the foundation for an organization that would empower countless individuals and foster a more just and equitable society. Over the years, Mugil Trust has grown from a grassroots initiative into a well-respected NGO, touching the lives of countless individuals in Chennai.
